Lake Eola Park is a public park located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, with a sidewalk that continues around the lake for around a mile in length. With a relaxing walk through trees, grassy areas, flower beds, and a fantastic view of the Orlando skyline over the lake, this is the perfect place for wonderful views. You may even rent swan-shaped paddleboats to take a trip out over the lake. The park is also home to the Walt Disney Amphitheater where you can catch a concert, movie, or play throughout the year. 2. Madame Tussauds Orlando
Madame Tussauds is a name recognized worldwide for their stunningly realistic wax sculptures of famous celebrities and historical figures. Sometimes you may even be able to catch fictional heroes as well, such as those from the Justice League! Started in London in 1835, Madame Tussauds has been a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most worthwhile attractions to visit. 3. ICON Park
ICON Park is located right next to the Orlando Aquarium, and is home to The Wheel at ICON Park, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel. Offering stunning views of the entire city, if you’re interested in getting a bird’s eye view, you won’t want to miss this. However, The Wheel is not the only thing to find at ICON Park. This location is home to over 40 fantastic restaurants, bars, boutique, and rides making it a fantastic location to check out for a day.
4. Harry P. Leu Gardens
The Harry P. Leu Gardens, located on the north side of Orlando, is a 50-acre botanical oasis where you can get lost in nature. Donated to the City of Orlando in 1961, the garden has continued on its mission of inspiring visitors to appreciate plants and their natural beauty. The gardens also hold regular events such as movie date nights out on the lawns, classes for children, and even themed events decorating the gardens! Don’t miss out on visiting this place of stunning natural beauty.
5. Orlando Museum of Art
Founded in 1924, the Orlando Museum of Art is the best place to find representations of Florida’s art scene and cultural community.
